Webspeed is a UK website design and managed hosting company established in 2006. We combine thoughtful design with dependable technology and friendly, long-term support.
Where it began
A business that grew naturally
The story began in 2001, when Mike Saunders started working with his sister’s business, Natural Healing UK Ltd. The company organised mind-body-soul exhibitions and the Yoga Show, and Mike helped to build and maintain its main website and online directory.
Working closely with the exhibitors gave Mike an early understanding of what small businesses needed from their websites. Before long, many of them began asking him to design and manage websites for their own businesses.
Most of this work came through personal recommendations, and demand continued to grow. In 2006, Mike established Webspeed to provide professional website design, hosting and ongoing support to a wider range of clients.
What began by helping one business online has since developed into a small, experienced team that has supported more than 3,000 clients over the past 20 years.

HealthHosts grew naturally from our earliest work within the natural health and wellbeing community. Today, most of our work is delivered through HealthHosts, combining our technical experience with a service created specifically around the needs of independent therapists.
